RESIDENTIAL SOLAR POWER CONSULTANT

Austin, Texas based ZenSolar is a virtual residential solar sales organization founded on the premise of providing a superior customer experience coupled with a passion for environmental responsibility.  ZenSolar was founded by a solar salesperson (who built his 10+ years solar career by selling virtually) for solar salespeople.  We are a remote sales platform enabling our Residential Solar Power Consultants to work from anywhere using our state-of-the-art tools in a digital eco-system.  This is a dream job for professional high-ticket salespeople that provides qualified leads and pre-set appointments.   ZenSolar is positioned to lead the transition from the fossil fuel industry to the explosive growth of clean renewable energy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conducts sales consultations with homeowners via Zoom/telephone
  • Create a customer-specific solar design and proposal
  • Manage customer expectations and effectively communicate project timeline
  • Continuous learning to keep pace in a rapidly changing explosive growth industry
  • Effectively leverage company training tools to quickly master the role to deliver a professional/knowledgable sales consultation

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-3 years sales experience preferably in residential solar sales
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build customer relationships
  • Proven sales skills presenting and handling objection techniques to close deals
  • Ability to effectively and confidently engage the customer by providing industry knowledge
  • Proficient computer skills; The Internet, Excel, Adobe, Gmail, Powerpoint, Zoom etc.
  • Devotion to flawless customer experience and appreciation of the impact on referral sales
  • Commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced environment
